The Arnold Camerata is an exciting and diverse chamber ensemble consisting of some the Country’s brightest young musical talents. Formed in 2009 by Violist Richard Waters, the Camerata are building a burgeoning reputation as concert artists.
The group actively seeks to perform works by what they view to be undervalued composers, which lead to the creation of The Essentially English Chamber Music Festival. The series promotes music by British composers that receive less exposure than their Continental rivals.
The inaugural festival was in April 2010 and was met with great success. The Camerata works closely with Aldeburgh Parish Church and are Resident at Peninsula Arts, The University of Plymouth.
